It was ALL RED Last Night

Market Update: Navigating the Current Crosswinds and Opportunities

The markets are feeling a bit shaky today. After starting in the green, the Nasdaq has flipped to red, joining both the Dow and the S&P 500 in negative territory. This shift isn’t entirely unexpected given the mixed economic signals we’re seeing right now.

If you’re feeling uncertain about where things are headed, you’re not alone. Let’s break it down.

The S&P 500 is showing some weakness, having dropped below the 20 EMA and now testing the 50 EMA. If that support level breaks, we could be looking at a bearish trend. However, bulls still have reasons to stay optimistic. The 50-day moving average sits just below at around 6000, providing strong support. And as long as the 100-day moving average (the upward-sloping blue line near 5900) holds, there’s no need for panic. That said, if bears manage to push prices below the 100-day line, it could signal trouble ahead. Overall, I still believe this year will lean more toward gains than losses.

Here’s the key takeaway: Missing out on opportunities often costs more than trying to avoid risks beyond your control—like interest rates, tariffs, or Fed decisions.

Instead, focus on what you can control. Invest in companies with “must-have” products and services that the world can’t function without. Pair that with smart risk management strategies, and you’ll be well-positioned no matter what the market throws your way

Not sure how to do that? Don’t worry—you’re not alone. It’s a common challenge, but it’s also one with a clear solution. Learn how to build a resilient portfolio by joining Stock Market Genius (SMG), where we break down these strategies step-by-step. Click here to get started.

Nvidia’s Strategic Moves Are Worth Watching

Nvidia is making headlines again, this time for its investment activity. The tech giant recently sold stakes in SoundHound, Serve Robotics, and Nano-X Imaging, while acquiring shares in Nebius Group—a company formerly part of Yandex, Russia’s leading internet and search provider.

What makes this interesting? Nebius has since cut ties with its Russian roots and relocated to the Netherlands, pivoting toward cloud and AI services for a global audience.

Caution: A flood of Nebius-related hype has surfaced in the past day. As always, tread carefully before jumping into any stock surrounded by excessive buzz.

Coinbase Victory: A Game-Changer for Crypto Regulation

In another major development, Coinbase has emerged victorious in its legal battle with the SEC. The regulator had accused the crypto exchange of operating an unregistered securities platform and failing to properly register its staking program. But Coinbase CEO announced that the charges have been dropped—and the company won’t pay a dime in fines.

This outcome is significant because it clears the path for much-needed regulatory clarity in the crypto space. While many investors will focus on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the real opportunity lies in digital clearing—a multi-trillion-dollar industry already gaining traction. It is not just Coinbase but also two others great exchanges that I invested in. Those of you in SMG knows what I’m talking about.

Digital currencies aren’t just a trend; they’re the future. If you haven’t already, it’s time to align your thinking with this reality.

Final Thoughts: Stay Focused on the Long-Term

Markets may experience short-term volatility, but history shows us they have a strong upward bias over time. So, keep your eyes on the bigger picture. Use pullbacks as opportunities to buy quality companies, and always manage risk wisely.
