no one cares
and it's a good thing
2025 has only 3 days left.
As we close the chapter on this year, I’ve been reflecting on the journey. Not just the wins, but the mindset required to stay in the game when the markets and life get noisy.
When I first started my career as an investor, I wasn't greeted with applause. "That's not a real career," they said. It’s a struggle I see my own children face today when people ask, "What does your Daddy do?"

One of my first few livestreams….
But thankfully early on, a business associate gave me a piece of advice that changed my trajectory. I’m going to share it with you, because you might need to hear it as we head into the new year:
"Nobody cares what happens to you."
It sounds harsh, but it is actually liberating.
When you are winning, nobody really cares (they might just get jealous).
When you are losing, nobody really cares (some might even be secretly happy they are doing better).
The truth is nobody is actually thinking about you every day. Everyone is just too busy with their own lives. So if there is something you want to do—like the Nike slogan says—Just Do It. There is no embarrassment even if you fail, but there is deep embarrassment if you fail to even try.
So for those of you who WANT TO CHANGE SOMETHING in 2026. Here are some of my advice:
Remove the Anchors
When you try to elevate your life, you will hear the chorus of mediocrity:
"Why change your job? It's risky."
"Investing? Isn't that just gambling?"
"Just bear with it, everywhere is the same."
Humans are tribal. We like to hang around people who are similar to us. If people around you are trapped in a job or failing to achieve their goals, they subconsciously want you to be the same.
My advice: Remove those people. If they are close family, shield yourself. Talk to them about the weather or food, but never about your goals or ambitions. Love them, but don't let them steer your ship. You are the Captain of your life
The Danger of the “6-7” Life
There is a new gen lingo young kids use called "6-7." It means "maybe," or "so-so." I see this in adult lives constantly. When something is "good enough" (a 6 or a 7), it lasts longer than when something is truly bad, because you won't take action to change it.
The trap is insidious. You stay in jobs you've outgrown or routines that feel hollow because they are just comfortable enough to avoid sparking a response. It is actually a bliss if your situation gets painful enough to force you to act.
If you get on the wrong train, get off at the nearest station. The longer it takes you to get off, the more expensive the return trip will be.
In the next email, I’m going to share exactly how I managed to execute my goals this year and why "hard work" is actually a myth. And I have prepared a gift for you at the end of this sharing! Watch out for it.
