🔥 1. Market hitting record highs

The S&P 500 just hit another all-time high, pushed by optimism from fresh global trade deals and strong momentum in AI. Nvidia surged past the $4 trillion mark in market cap, fueling a tech-led rally. But with valuations stretched, many pros are beginning to position more defensively.

💼 2. Jobs data vs Fed outlook

June’s jobs report came in stronger than expected. Despite that, inflation is still tame, and the Fed is holding back on rate cuts. This tug-of-war between labor strength and rate expectations is keeping investors on their toes.

⚠️ 3. Tariff uncertainty

The market got a brief boost after a delay in new tariffs, but there’s still tension in the air with looming hikes on imports from Canada, Brazil, and possibly the EU. That could mean big shakeups in sectors like consumer goods and industrials. The good news is that Japan seems to have secure a good deal.

So what does this mean for us?
✅ Stay exposed to high-quality tech
🛡️ Add some defense via staples or utilities
💡 Consider alternatives like Bitcoin, especially with the recent surge
