How will that affect investors?

Ethereum ETFs is HERE

Great news for the crypto community! U.S. regulators approved all Ethereum (ETH) ETF applications on Thursday. This marks a significant shift in their stance following the recent landmark bill providing a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies.

Nine issuers received approval, including major names like VanEck, ARK Investments/21Shares, and BlackRock. This announcement comes just four months after the approval of the Bitcoin ETF in January 2024.

What Does This Mean for ETH Prices?

While the ETH price has seen a modest 2% increase since the news broke, historical trends suggest that we might be on the brink of more substantial gains. Following the approval of the Bitcoin ETF, Bitcoin prices surged over 45%, with more than $30 billion flowing into Bitcoin ETFs.

Will Ethereum follow the same path? Only time will tell.

When Can You Buy an ETH ETF?

Although the approval is a major milestone, issuers still need to get their ETF registration statements, including investor disclosures, approved by the SEC before trading can begin. This process could take another week or two, so keep an eye on your brokerages.
