What is My Favourite Way of Investing?

I have a secret confession, although it may seem like I am doing many things: property research and analysis, running SMG community, and manage clients’ investments at Truffle Portfolio. I am actually rather lazy by nature. I always try to find the most efficient way of doing things. 🦥

I also apply this to my investing style. I have tried day trading and staying up late into the weehours to trade. 

Results? Decent . But sustainable? Nope.

My “lazy” vibe clashed with the chaos. So I did what any self-respecting couch potato would do—I reinvented the game.

So over the years, I have developed the investing technique of “hand-off” investing

These are strategies that don’t require much monitoring and still can generate results. 

Sounds too good to be true? I thought so too… until my lazy approach started crushing my old day-trading returns! 🤦‍♂️

One of the key success factor is that it allow good businesses time to flourish and even if the trade goes down in the short term, it will still produce profits in the future.
