why I am still buying this
If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I am a Bitcoin bull and bearish on most other cryptocurrencies. But why?
1. From Minecraft to Million-Dollar Lessons
It’s funny how some of the best investments start as accidents.

Years ago, when I was deep into Minecraft mods and online communities, I stumbled on something called Bitcoin. Back then, it was just digital money passed around in forums, used for small trades, server donations, or curiosity experiments.
I didn’t think much of it. I mined a bit (using my own laptop), bought a bit when it was less than $10 a piece, and forgot about it. But those few coins (worth next to nothing at the time) became the seed that later shaped my financial life.
Fast-forward to today: Bitcoin is trading around $120,000, and those long-ago coins form the foundation of my investing journey. What started as a hobby in a pixelated world turned into a lifelong lesson in patience, conviction, and innovation.
2. The Beauty of Bitcoin’s Design
The more I studied Bitcoin, the more it fascinated me. A currency with no central bank. A network with no CEO. A monetary system built entirely on math and trustless consensus.
Bitcoin was born from the chaos of the 2008 financial crisis, offering an alternative to fiat systems that depend on governments and institutions. The fixed supply of 21 million BTC is what makes it special: scarcity in a world flooded with money printing.
It’s not perfect. It’s volatile, sometimes unpredictable, and constantly misunderstood. But that’s what makes it valuable. It rewards those who see beyond the noise.
A key feature is that, while it has been stolen before, Bitcoin’s encryption has never been hacked. Showing its strength as a store of value.
3. How 2025 Brought Bitcoin Back to the Spotlight
This year has been a turning point. Institutional investors are finally embracing what early adopters saw more than a decade ago. With ETFs launching, large funds entering the space, and geopolitical tensions driving capital toward scarce assets, Bitcoin’s role as “digital gold” is solidifying.
While traditional markets debate inflation and policy pivots, Bitcoin keeps doing what it was built to do → exist outside the system.
Sure, it’s volatile. But when I zoom out, I see the same pattern: adoption curves rising, supply shrinking, and confidence growing.

That’s why, even after holding for all these years, I’m buying more Bitcoin now.
4. Why I’m Still Bullish (and Careful)
Owning Bitcoin taught me two core truths about investing:
Conviction matters more than timing.
Patience pays more than predictions.
I’m not betting the farm on Bitcoin, just building my position deliberately. It’s still a significant slice of my overall portfolio, but one I’m comfortable expanding when sentiment cools and headlines get loud.
Of course, this is not to say that Bitcoin is suitable for everyone. It is still volatile and does not move in tandem with gold yet. So please do your own due diligence.
The intention of my sharing is to educate through my own journey.
My approach is simple:
Accumulate gradually — I buy small amounts regularly, regardless of price.
Secure storage — cold wallets and redundancy.
Stay informed — track mining economics, regulation, and network data.
Don’t get greedy — when it doubles, I take partial profits, not victory laps.
If Bitcoin does reach $200,000 or beyond this year, great. If it doesn’t, that’s fine too because I am looking at this decades into the future.
📌 Bottom Line
Bitcoin started as a quirky experiment that crossed paths with my teenage gaming days. It became a lifelong teacher in risk, patience, and belief in disruptive ideas.
Today, as it climbs again, I’m reminded that wealth isn’t built by chasing hype — it’s built by recognizing value early and holding through uncertainty.
Bitcoin gave me that lesson. And in 2025, I’m still learning from it — one block at a time.
Stay curious. Stay steady. Stay sharp.
In addition to BTC, another asset that I am bullish on is GOLD and right now,
